he’s just so fucking huge imagine him finally getting his precious girl home with him one night after work. he didn’t ask, obviously, just slipped a little smth extra into the tea he made her! it took her no time to fall straight into his arms

the ride back to his cabin has to be excruciating for him,, imagine having to keep his attention on driving when his girl is sat next to him. the urge to pull over and take you apart right tugged on him every couple minutes

when he does finally pull up imagine him gently peeling off your seatbelt and shifting your weight into his beefy arms uggghhhhhh 😖😖 his chest pressed against your side as he placed you down on the couch. takes him no time to go back out to the truck and grab what he needs,, a thick pair of leather cuffs and a chain.

maybe he traps her arms, hooking the chain into a loop on the floor. he does it so she won’t hurt herself trying to fight back, it takes nothing for him to put you in your place. the thought of getting too rough and breaking his favorite toy so soon didn’t rest easy with him… gotta keep her safe

or maybe he traps her legs, cuffs wrapped around her ankles. can’t have his little bird trying to escape the nest!! not until she’s finally trained! stops you from kicking or running from him, perfect to keep your legs together tight… but maybe seeing your limbs pressed together like that does something to him, makes his blood boil in a way no one else ever has 😏

finally took a picture of the shirt dress i made ^^

this took ~6 weeks total from start to finish. it's a pretty straightforward pattern, it's mainly because i split my time between sewing & drawing so sewing only gets some of my weekends, and i also ordered a few different fabric swatches before i settled on my final fabric so i spent time waiting for fabric to get to me lol. also, i did make a muslin first, as i'm supposed to!

i used shot cotton so there's a very slight color shift effect--the fabric's made using dark purple + light blue threads, so you see a slightly different mix of the two depending on the angle. this fabric line is meant for quilting, but it's the only shot cotton i found that was opaque in one layer. i guess whether or not it was a good fabric choice is somewhat subjective--but it was at least very easy to sew with!

this dress has 18 buttons, which means 18 buttonholes! even though i made a dozen tester buttonholes on scraps, it was only when i actually started on the dress that i figured out exactly how to set them up consistently each time. thankfully i started from the bottom up so my first tries aren't noticeable 😖

i finished this dress at the end of august, but it's still not cold enough to actually wear this outside 😭 at this rate it's staying on the hanger until november

You and Aaron had been best friends, ever since you both were teenagers.

You both stayed with each other through the awkward growing up phase. You two used to be inseparable, and stayed like that until he started to film for nowhere boy, where he was playing John Lennon.

“Wait, so you’re telling me that you’re literally going to play John Lennon?” You asked, with a smile on your face as you talked to your friend.

He smiled back and nodded. You both continued to walk and talk, you talked about what you auditioned for and he talked about how he was excited to play in the movie.

You both were busy filming, you for a show and him for a movie. So you both had been a little distant, distracted.

You sighed when you flopped into the bed, tired and yawning. You were falling asleep, eyes shut and everything, when your phone goes off.

You groan and pick up the phone.

“Hello?”

He says your name, and you automatically knew it was Aaron.

“Aaron! Hi! Oh my god, I haven’t heard from you in a while. How are you? How’s the film?” You rubbed your eyes.

“Hi. Sorry if I woke you up or somethin’. Im alright. The filmings almost wrapped up. How about your show?”

“That’s good. Today was the last day, so hopefully it goes good.”

“Thats nice.”

There was an awkward silence for a while.

“ I was wondering if you’d wanna hang out this weekend. We haven’t talked and you know-“ his British accent cut through the silence thankfully.

“Yeah! I’d love to.” You said, more excited than you should’ve been.

“Great. I’ll text you everything tomorrow, thank you. Goodnight, y/n.”

“Goodnight, Aaron.”

And you thought things would be great at lunch, but they got worse.

He told you about his new girlfriend, Sam. And you learned that she was older, way older than him. He had just turned an adult, so what the hell?

Of course, you’d been his best friend forever, and you’ve seen his girlfriends come and go, but this one was different, she was old, way too old for him, and the power imbalance was weird to you. The he mentioned how she was pregnant.

You tried to be supportive, but you couldn’t. When you got home, you cried into your pillow and blocked Aaron’s number.

It’s been two years now, and you had just got cast for Anna Karenina. You were playing the main character, and that’s when you found out Aaron was also on the movie, playing none other than your love interest.

The first day on set, you both were shocked to see each other. You glanced at him and he did the same, and quickly darted his eyes away.

Did he hate you? Did he feel bad?

He should, you thought bitterly. You looked over your lines, and after you were ready made your way to where it would be shot.

It was awkward for you and Aaron, both of you just continued to work professionally, however, on set.

It wasn’t until the dance scene that you realized how utterly in love you still were with him. It was a few days of filming now.

He kissed your hand, and you were gone. In terms of the movie and in reality.

You did as you practiced, but you’d practiced with someone else, and so has he. It was odd to be doing it with him.

You stared into his eyes. That’s when you realized in character and out of character, you were in love with him.

So you used that to make the scene better, he stared into your eyes the same way, but you brushed it off as acting.

The spotlight was on the both of you, and you couldn’t see anything but him.

Your palms were sweating, but so were his, you realized.

Once that scene was over, you both stared at each other for a moment in silence.

“Let’s take a break!” They said, and everyone went where they usually did.

It had been a long day. You both stayed staring for a good few seconds before you both opened your mouth.

“I’m sorry-“ you both apologized at the same time. You both smiled and laughed at that.

“I shouldn’t have blocked you.”

“And I shouldn’t have sprung everything on you at once.”

You both stayed silent for a moment again before you asked.

“How’s you and Sam..?”

His eyebrows furrowed. “Oh. Yeah. We’re good- fine.”

“And your baby..?”

He smiled at the mention “She’s good.”

“A girl, huh? What’s her name?”

He stared into your eyes again, with that same look as he did in the dance scene.

“Y/n.”

And that’s how you were here now, months filming now. It was the scene were you told Vronsky, or Aaron, that your character was pregnant.

You were in a field, holding a parasol as you looked into the distance.

“Anna.” He said behind you.

You turned back, with a small smile present on your face, putting the parasol down.

“Alexei. What is it?”

“I couldn’t bear not to see you before the race.”

You smiled and practically ran into his arms, his hands rubbed your shoulders.

“What were you thinking about?”

His hand grabbed your jaw softly when you didn’t answer.

“Tell me.”

You stared into each others eyes. You passed for a moment before speaking.

“I’m pregnant.”

You stayed silent for a moment and waited for a reaction.

His face lit up, hand caressing your cheek.

“Oh, my love. Love was never a game to us. Here’s an end to living in corners. Existing days to days on lies. Now we can be together.” He laughed quietly.

For a second, you wished it was real.

“How can we, Alexei?”

“Tell him everything.”

“Do you think my husband will make you a present of me?”

“Leave him.”

“Leave him and be your mistress?”

“Yes. Run away.”

“I would never see my son again. The laws are made by husbands and fathers.”

He paused for a moment. Was that the only reason he was still with Sam?

“What then? I’ll never forgive myself for your unhappiness.”

“Unhappiness? I’m like a starving begged who’s been given food. I am happy. I love you. I could never be unhappy with you.” The last part slipped out on accident, it was not part of your lines.

His eyebrows raised, and you paused for a moment, looking at him for a reaction.

He leaned in, and you did as well. The kiss seemed genuine, not like the forced ones you’ve had while filming this movie. This felt real, full of actual passion and love.

The kiss went on for longer than expected, the people on set were eating every second of it up.

“Cut! Now that is how you act! Way to go, guys. Really great.”

Your cheeks burned up as you realized what had happened, you looked at Aaron and he smiled softly.

You both talked for a while, you both trying to ignore what happened earlier.

“Did you mean what you said earlier..?” He asked suddenly, right before you were about to enter your car to leave.

Your eyes widened, and you paused, and turned to look at him as he walked closer to you.

“Aaron-“

“I need to know.”

Y-yeah. I meant it. I didn’t mean to say it. And I know that you have-“

His lips crashed against yours while you tried to explain, it was passionate, and just like the one from the confession.

“I love you. I always have, y/n.” He mumbled quietly, hand on your jaw.

Anyone who knew the couple knew they couldn’t possibly go a day without contact or seeing each others faces.

If Harry was away on tour or press, or y/n was away with family or away on a girls weekend sometime between that time there would 100% be a FaceTime or phone call.

“I Miss you”

These kind of calls were normally during the late evening, where everyone’s jobs were done for the day but they were still separated and craves that togetherness feel.

“I miss you, miss you soooooo much” Harry sang into his iPhone.

“Miss you more H” she smiled.

These calls always contained questions and conversations about each others day, and even if y/n was too tired to talk she was never too tired to listen to H speak about his day.

“What are you up too?”

These calls were sometimes quiet random and unexpected and were often when one of them was at home and the other was on there way back, for some reason it worked like that.

“Babeee?” Harry hummed, placing his phone on the stand on the dashboard of one his cars.

“Mmhmm” y/n replied propping her phone against a candle on the coffee table.

“What ya doinggggg?” He said putting his car into ignition and getting ready to head home.

“M’finding a movie for us to watch later tonight” she answered glancing down to watch him.

Harry claimed these types of calls were because he was just ‘nosey’ but in reality he just liked hearing her voice and seeing what she was up to.

“Just checking up”

Harry’s protective and caring nature was always looking out for signs and symptoms of his girl, he could read her easy hence why his care intensified at times.

“Hello Harry” she said lowly bringing her phone to her ear.

“Hello beautiful, you okay?” He asked.

“Mmhmm just tired”

“M’kay, haven’t heard much from ya” he started.

“Which is fine love, but I’ll be home in about 15 minutes and I’ll get us dinner alright?” He reassured.

“Okay love, thank you I love you” she smiled, feeling relieved he couldn’t see her crimson cheeks.

“S’my job love, and I love you”

“Come get me!”

Being the designated driver was always a challenging journey from dropping them off, to waiting for there call in the early morning hours, both of the couple took there job seriously and always knew what to do.

The clock was reaching 2:30am and still no sign of Harry, it had been a gruelling couple of hours, y/n tried various things to distract herself from the fact her boyfriend is out surrounding by gos knows how many people.

It wasn’t him she didn’t trust it was others she didn’t, his status didn’t help, the idea of him being so vulnerable without her made y/n’s stomach turn.

A familiar ringtone filled her ears, finally.

It was Harry.

“Heeeey Beautifullllll, I wanna want to come home now, I wanna be in the warm with youuuu” he slurred over the phone.

actually there's nothing really special in my art learning journey haha… like many people, in primary school I first learned drawing by copying the pictures of comic magazines, and later tried to create my own comic stories on sketchbooks. I also took a sketch class in the weekends when I was older. although I couldn't attend regularly because there was too much homework from school, I met a super nice teacher and he encouraged me to learn from a lot of masterpieces of different genres and I got to know there were so many other possibilities of art. in my senior year I left school and went to an art studio for art university entrance exams for half a year. we practiced from early morning to midnight and in addition to improving skills, we were also compelled to learn some tricks to cater to the examiner's taste in order to stand out from the crowds of competitors… it was too stressful and I don't want to be back to that time anymore🥀 anyway on the good side I drew and painted more skilled and accurate and was finally accepted by my dream school which is located in a big city. this gave me more chances to be exposed to events like exhibitions and performances that can inspire me. in the university I majored in comic and illustration, and now work as a freelancer.

hope it's not too longwinded… and here’s a lily & snape I drew back in middle school (before I knew how to draw men) and a snape in high school, they look totally different from what I draw now😋

Here’s my Frankenstein 🥲 but at least I have a valid method to recover a corrupted artwork in Procreate to some extent now 🥲 but… I really don’t wish to go through this again. Ever. Why did I get an iPad with such small capacity? 😖 next one is going to be 1 Tb…

But at least I finally finished the new chapter illustration…

August is hitting me hard, I’ve been working 10-15 hours a day without weekends 🥲 hopefully it will become better now, we are getting some new hires and people coming back from vacations.

Anyways, today is my first day off and I used it to finish the artwork and the chapter. This illustration is for chapter 2 of part 2 of Blame it All on Me.

im back! i took a little trip around the bottom half of the south island during reading week last week 🚗 such a good holiday! one of my deadlines that was due the day i got back got pushed to this wednesday instead thank god 🙏 but ive still been very unproductive this weekend:( finally trying to get back into the swing of things! i had a māori essay that was due on friday that i haven't properly started yet, and i need to finish my english essay that was pushed back so tomorrow is going to be very busy 😖 but on a more positive note, ive gotten some assignments back and my grades are a lot better than i expected them to be, so im very happy about that! 🎉

It's done and gone I AM FREE and I will never discuss AOT ever again lmao

About JJK...... man.... it hurts.... It was so good...... until it wasn't 😭 Listen it starts out as a 6 or 7 out of 10 until it grows into a pure 10 out of 10 score for the Hidden Inventory & Shibuya Incident arcs ... and then it falls down a steep cliff right into a, in my generous opinion, 2 out of 10 score 😖 Post-Shibuya is so bad I can't even explain it bc it hurts too much to think about... I used to love this series so much and it turned into... this... It's heartbreaking. I only recommend JJK to you if you're aware that it's not that good and it's mostly carried by its battles rather than its plot or characters. And tbh the community is fun. I've had the time of my life when JJK was at its peak in summer '23 and even if the manga is ending in a few weeks, the anime is still ongoing for a few years at least, so there's that too if you care about that ❤

Star, I must repent. I think I followed you at the tail end of your Avery obsession. I must admit, I did NOT get it, I did not see The Vision™️

But things changed, you may already know, but I downloaded that mobile Pokémon game, Pokemon Masters EX, bc I’m broke and know no other option; Avery was put in the game…like…yestetday?; I go “OO! Star’s guy!”; I obtain Avery; etcetera etcetera, yada yada

It’s 5am, I’m sitting someone else’s house with little to do bc I was watching a family’s dogs while they were on a weekend trip. I open the app and decide to play the little side story for Avery bc ofc I love the 💖Lore💖 and thought it’d be cool to gain clues on who he is (bc there’s no introductions in the game, really. You just go in and they expect you to already know these guys…I, in fact, know none of these guys).

Avery greets the player and starts briefly talking about his powers, his family, his Slowpoke, gym leading, etc. (probably just referencing what already happened in Shield but-) and I’m like “…omg…he is lovely <3”

and. then I see him “teleport”. For the first time…I…HE DID SAY “oh I was supposed to have all these powers but only got Telekinesis” BUT. I WASNT . I WAS NOT READY. I DON’T KNOW WHAT I WAS EXPECTING!!!! BUT IT WASNT THAT TURN AROUND AND FULL SPRINT AWAY INTO THE NIGHT, LEAVING THREE (3) OF HIS POKEMON JUST SITTING IN FRONT OF ME, VIBING

I don’t remember what noises I made, but whatever it was, I startled awake all four of the dogs I was watching. I was almost SOBBING. That got me so bad. I still look up at the ceiling everytime I think about it.
